The St. Moritz Polo World Cup on Snow

About the experience

The St. Moritz Polo World Cup on Snow is the world’s most prestigious winter polo tournament and takes place this year from 24 to 27 January.

Four high-goal teams with handicaps between 15 and 18 goals battle for the coveted trophy on the frozen surface of Lake St. Moritz.

Be at the St. Moritz Polo World Cup on Snow and experience a world of sport that combines strength, elegance, speed, pride and the traditional British love of fair play. Experience polo at its best!

Each team plays every other team, on the round robin principle and the tournament’s climax is the third-place play-off and the final on Sunday. The matches are played at the highest level and demand concentration, strength, skill, courage and stamina from both the world’s elite players and the horses.

While the first of the two lines is around 1,100 feet long, the second line, set at a steeper grade, propels you on the 2,100-foot-long downhill adventure of a lifetime. Complete with views of nearby Quartermaster Canyon, the scenery rushing by above and below just takes your breath away.Come on out and test your sense of adventure at a one-of-its-kind zip line.
